Love Beyond Reach(81)By: Bethany Claire
Laurel knew that Marcus would think her request absurd, but there was no way she was waiting until morning.
“Would you like to see Scotland by dark?”
“Do you want to go to a pub?”
Smiling, she reached for his hand and tried to pull him out of his seat.
“No. I’ll drive this time. I know just where we’re going.”
Marcus handed Laurel the keys and followed behind her. “And where is that?”
“To the inn near Conall Castle.”
“Now that stretch I do remember. There was nothing in the thirty miles leading to the castle.”
“There will be now, and I don’t want to be late for tea.”
