Color Me In (Last Chance #2)(108)

By: Riley Hart

His heart sped up, and he tasted nerves on his tongue, though he didn’t know why. This moment felt…different, heavy, like more.

“I want that,” Shane said, slowly pulling his hand out from under the pillow.

“I want you to see me every fucking day of the rest of my life. I want to keep making memories with you. I want to spend the rest of my life loving you.”

Shane held his hand up in front of him, something inside it.

Van sucked in a heavy breath. “Shane?” His voice trembled, fucking shook as he took a step forward. Click. Then another. Click. And another.

That’s when he saw it, the gold band in the palm of Shane’s hand.

His heart beat so damn hard now, he thought it would jump from his chest. He went to take another shot, but Shane stopped him with, “Wait. Don’t move.”

He got out of the bed, moving as if he was in slow motion before he knelt on the floor in front of Van.

Christ, he just realized he still had the camera in front of his face. Click. He took another photo of Shane there, beautiful on his knees with a ring in his hand, before he lowered the camera. “Yes.”

“I didn’t ask you anything yet.” Shane laughed.

“Still, yes.”

“Okay, but I still want to do this.”

Van grinned. “As long as you know right now I’m going to say yes. I can’t hold it back.”

“Noted.” Shane sobered after that. “I said most of it on the bed, but…see me, Van. Keep seeing me every day, because that’s the only way I know I’m real. Laugh with me, paint me, take pictures of me, and I’ll try to give you as much as you give me.”

“You do,” Van said, his eyes stinging. “You so fucking do. You have to know that.”

Shane nodded. “I do. I love you so damn much, Van. Will you marry me?”

“Fuck yes,” Van replied. He tossed the camera to the bed and held out his hand, which shook. Shane trembled as well as he slipped the ring on Van’s finger. “Christ, I love you.” He fell to his knees, and they kissed each other. The ring felt right, at home on his finger, and he’d put one on Shane’s finger right that second too if he could.

“I love you too,” Shane replied against his mouth. They kissed as they climbed onto the bed together.

Shane’s warm body covered his, the perfect weight that Van knew by heart.

A second later, Shane had lube in his hand. “Someone assumed that just because they proposed, they’d get laid, huh?” Van teased.

“I planned ahead and hoped.”

“Get inside me. I need you.”

Shane lifted Van’s legs over his shoulders, wet his hole, and then his cock. When he pushed in, they breathed out together, and it was…perfect.

“Let me see it,” Shane said.

Van held up his hand for Shane, the simple gold band with braided edges tight around his finger. “It looks good on me.”

Shane chuckled. “It does.”

“I want one on your finger too.”

“Okay,” he replied, then kissed Van again, made love to him as Van ran his hand up and down Shane’s back, aware of the gold band the whole time.

“Fuck…I’m gonna…” He slipped his ringed hand down to his dick, jerking himself off. Right before color flashed in front of his eyes, his balls drew tight, and he shot all over his chest and stomach.

“Me too…fuck, me too.” Shane thrust, railed into him, and then his cock pulsed, his body went tense, and Van felt Shane’s hot load fill him.

They collapsed together, breathing heavy and holding each other. “I can’t wait to be your husband,” Van said.

“I can’t wait to be your husband too.”
